Estate crops/plantation business in Garut regency is big enough. Sector estate crops in consists of State-owned estates, Private estates and Smallholdings. Area of plantation in Garut regency reached 51,811.54 Ha, which is divided into people's plantation crops or Smallholdings estates 26,501.54 Ha (51.14%), State-owned large estates (PTP) of 12,901.48 ha (24.90%), and private large estate of 12,408.52 Ha (23.94%).
Institutional farm in Garut regency, to the fruit consists of 365 Farmers Group, 5 fruit cooperative, 3 fruit Association, 10 fruit KUB, and 77 units distiller.
